For this short music video, I selected the music I wanted to use, cut it to fit the video's shorter length, directed my classmates outside, and then created a short narrative parody to accompany the footage of my friends dancing.

In my first project that I starred in, I set up cameras to record myself as the drummer and singer, recruited my girlfriend to play the dancer, my friend to play guitar, and my classmates to dance.

The primary aim of this project was to use my limited resources to create a fun, sometimes comical, melodramatic story evocative of old Latin music videos. I chose to focus on executing the juxtaposition of black-and-white and colored footage, and the process of “montaje métrico” (the synchronization of the image with the rhythm and beat of the music through analysis of symmetry and duration of specific frames).
